About Me
July 4, 2008
I was raised an Army brat. Dad was career army all the way. Traveling throughout different parts of the United States and the world was second nature to me growing up.
By the time I entered high school in the 9th grade, it was the 12th school I’d been enrolled in. The longest I’d been in attendance anywhere was two years. The shortest was two months.
Maybe that’s why I didn’t travel as much when I became an adult. It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, I just found it hard to make the time. I spent most of my vacations going back to see family that I had missed in my youth.
I traveled for business however and enjoyed it. But now I’m getting back to travel strictly for the love of it. And I’m blogging about it. I’ve reached the point in my life where I want to make real time for the things I enjoy. Too many of us only “talk” about the things we love instead of “doing” more about them. Life shouldn’t be that way.
Only sometimes we have to get a little older to realize it.
